In Mark 7:31-37, Jesus meets "a man who was deaf and could hardly talk". Yet, Jesus healed Him with one word--a simple and direct command: "'Ephphatha!' which means 'Open up!' And at once the man could hear, and he had no more trouble talking clearly." In 2008, we will meet needs and obstacles. Yet, an anointed word--spoken in faith and empowered by the Holy Spirit--will result in divine intervention and miraculous provision. Together, let us meet our obstacles with the command: "Ephphatha!" |
